102nd Express Entry Draw held on October 15, 2018

On October 15, 2018, IRCC held its 102nd Express Entry draw wherein 3,900 invitations to apply were issued to candidates with a cut-off score of 440. All the candidates who created their express entry profile before September 18, 2018, at 11:06:29 UTC and had scored a CRS of 440 points and above received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in this draw. The draw size of October 15, 2018, remained the same as the previous Express Entry draw held on October 3, 2018, wherein 3900 ITAs were issued. However, the cut-off score has decreased from 445 to 440.

Express Entry system manages profiles in mainly three categories: Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class and candidates with the highest rankings are invited to issue ITA through the regular draws released twice a month. The other candidates can improve their ranking by including a provincial nomination that provides an additional 600 points to their current CRS score. IRCC has now issued a total of 62,100 ITAs in over 19 draws in 2018 which is comparatively lower to the ITAs issued last year around the same time in the year 2017.
