British Columbia invites more candidates with tech pilot draw

On July 18, 2018, British Columbia issued 27 new applications to apply for Provincial Nomination under its tech pilot program. The new invitations being issued were for the candidates eligible under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program’s recent eligibility criteria with the list of key technology sector occupations and job offer requirement.

Below mentioned are the category, which also has the minimum score required to be eligible in each stream available in BC PNP:

SI – Skilled Worker 96

The provincial candidates receiving the PNP nominations would get a hike of 600 points in their existing CRS score. However, the BC PNP has announced to extend its pilot program until June 2019 and reduce the number of in-demand occupation from 32 to 29 including the duration of its required job offer, from permanent full-time offer to a full-time offer of at least one year (365 days).
