The recent Express Entry draw witnessed the highest number of ITAs being issued in the year 2018 i.e. 3,750 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residency to all the candidates with CRS Score of 451 and above.
Prior to this draw, the largest all-program draw had issued 3,500 invitations. IRCC has also used its tie-breaker rule where the tie-break time and date for the invitation round was July 21, 2017, at 07:01:28 UTC. This means all the candidates who have their Express Entry profile created on or before the specified date and time and having CRS Score above 451 would be eligible to receive an ITA in this round. It is not very surprising to see the draw size increasing as Canada has set higher immigration targets in the year 2018 than in the year 2017. Simultaneously, the admission targets are likely to increase in the last quarter of the decade.
