Provincial Nominee Program

Every province in Canada has its own Provincial Nominee Program. The programs track individuals who are interested in settling in a particular province of Canada for a faster immigration processing. Every program maps their own criteria, guidelines, and streams that are targeting specific kind of workers to meet the provincial requirement. If a person wants to immigrate to Canada and is open to living and working in a specific region of the country, the Provincial Nominee Programs can be of immense help.

How to get an Express Entry PNP Nomination

One of the two methods is to contact a Canada Nominee Program directly and apply for receiving a nomination under the Express Entry stream of the province. If successfully nominated, they can create an Express Entry profile and accept the nomination electronically through their CIC account. Another method is to begin by creating an Express Entry profile and list out the provinces or territories the potential immigrant would like to live and work in. When and if a notification of interest is issued from the side of the province, you can then apply under their Express Entry stream.

You are not entitled to work immediately when a province nominates you for PR. You require a valid work permit to live and work in Canada.Until a prospective immigrant gets issued a Canada PR Card, it is not possible to work for a foreign individual in Canada.

Increased Value of PNP Canada Nominations

Since the update made by the IRCC in November 2016, a nomination certificate received from a Provincial Nominee Program Canada is the most valuable factor when a person is applying for his permanent residency through Express Entry Program.
