The express entry draw conducted in the month of November 2018 has now pushed Canada one step ahead in breaking the record of invitations issued last year around the same time. The latest draw carried out on November 28, 2018, had issued a total of 3,900 invitations to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence (ITAs), bringing the entire year–to-date invitations to a total of 82.000 invitations. The minimum CRS score was 445, which was 4 points lesser compared to the draw previously held on November 15, 2018, which had a minimum CRS score of 449.
At present, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is pushing further breaking the record of year 2017 and is only 4,024 ITAs away from breaking the same. With just one moth remaining, it will be great to see what will be the results at the end of December 2018 – will 2018 break the record of 2017 or not?
We can find scope in 2018 beating the records of last year, as each month IRCC holds two Express Entry draws will each month proclaiming invitations of nearly 3,900 invitations. The Express Entry system manages candidates coming three immigration programs namely – the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class. Candidates with the highest rankings are invited to issue ITA through the regular draws released twice a month. The other candidates can improve their ranking by including a provincial nomination that provides an additional 600 points to their current CRS score.
