IRCC held its largest Express Entry Draw on September 5, 2018

On September 5, 2018, IRCC held its largest Express Entry draw wherein 3,900 invitations to apply were issued to candidates with cut-off score of 440. The tie-break procedure was implemented wherein the date and time for this draw was April 29, 2018, at 14:28:34 UTC. This implies that all the Canadian immigrants who have a score above 440 and submitted before the said date are eligible to receive an ITA in the invitation round. Compared to the previous draw held on August 22, 2018, the CRS score remains the same; however, the number of ITAs issued increased by 250. Anyone wishing to immigrate to Canada in Express Entry system must meet the requirements for either of Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC), Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC). An Express Entry CRS score is determined by considering the various factors in applicant’s profile which include age, education, work experience, language ability, and others. A candidate’s assigned SCR score determines his/her ranking in the Express Entry pool. All candidates who received ITA on September 5, 2018, will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence to IRCC.
