Ontario revises its requirement for Human Capital Priorities Stream

The Human Capital Priorities stream (HCP) is one of Ontario’s most active and popular immigration path. It allows them to search for candidates who match the stream’s established eligibility criteria with their requirements. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score for Ontario’s Express Entry- linked Human Capital Priorities immigration stream has been revised. Earlier the candidates required to have a minimum score of 400 points, which now has been changed to “as determined by the director of the OINP”.

Every candidate who are approved and receive a provincial nomination are awarded an additional 600 points to their file while ensures them to receive an ITA (Invitation to Apply). In the year 2018, Ontario has issued 3,534 total notifications of interest for HCP programs for selected express entry candidates.
