On July 19, 2018, Prince Edward Island invited a total of 125 candidates, including 75 invitations to candidates in the Express Entry and Labour Impact categories, to apply for a provincial nomination under its Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). Under Business Impact Category, 50 ITAs were issued with the minimum point threshold of 135. To be eligible in PEI, 100 points are required based on age, education, work experience, language, adaptability, and other such factors.
