In the most recent Alberta Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on November 9, 2023, a modest 16 invitations were extended to Express Entry candidates seeking provincial nomination for permanent residency (PR). This specific draw focused on profiles with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 305 or higher, emphasizing the dedicated healthcare pathway or those with a job offer from an Albertan employer..

As of November 14, 2023, Alberta has already granted 9,432 nomination certificates across all categories. With a total annual quota of 9,750 for 2023, half of which is allocated for Express Entry profiles, there are still over 318 provincial nominations available.

It’s essential to note that while candidates are invited to apply, not all accept the nomination, and the processing time for Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) may extend beyond the current year.
