British Columbia invited 340 immigration candidates through PNP draws held on November 9, 2021
Candidates were invited to apply for a provincial nomination under general and second draw targeting retail and wholesale trade managers and restaurant and food services managers.
In the general draw, 287 candidates were invited from the from the Skilled Worker, International Graduate as well as Entry Level and Semi-Skilled sub-categories of Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry BC (EEBC) streams. The minimum scores for this draw ranged between 69 and 94 points.
In second draw, 53 candidates invited under SI and EEBC categories and targeted candidates whose occupation falls under NOC 0621 (retail and wholesale trade managers) or NOC 0631 (restaurant and food service managers). The minimum score for this draw 104 points.
B.C. has now surpassed 10,000 invitations issued through various BC PNP streams this year.
If invited candidates receive the provincial nomination, they will automatically get 600 points added to their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
The BC PNP aims to attract foreign workers who are in high demand in the province and who wish to become permanent residents of Canada.
Skills Immigration and Express Entry are the two immigration streams in the BC PNP, both of which are divided into sub-categories.
These streams are managed under B.C.’s Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). Before you can apply through the SIRS, you must first create an account. After that, you’ll be given a score based on factors like your education, work experience, and language skills
The Express Entry BC (EEBC) stream is for candidates who have a valid profile in the federal Express Entry system, which is Canada’s main pathway for skilled individuals seeking permanent residency in the country.
The SI (Skilled Immigration) stream is for skilled and semi-skilled workers whose occupations are in high demand in the province of British Columbia.
When British Columbia holds one of its regular draws, the top-scoring candidates in each subcategory are invited to apply for a provincial nomination to apply for permanent residency.
If you received an invitation you will have 30 days from the date of the invitation to submit a complete application through the BC PNP online system.
Once you submit a complete BC PNP application package you will be notified of the province’s decision within approximately two to three months. If your nomination is successful, you become eligible to apply IRCC for permanent resident status under the Provincial Nominee Class. The nomination is valid for approximately six months from the date of confirmation.
The nomination is valid for approximately six months from the date of confirmation.
In the Skilled Immigration and EE aligned draws and other PNP draws, the candidates are awarded additional 600 CRS points if they receive the successful nomination. That ensures the ITA from federal Express Entry program.
We have enrolled ourselves with Winny for Canada Immigration(was referred by a friend) and we are very happy with the service provided by them. We are yet to complete the entire service with them but until now the staff has proven to be knowledgeable, patient, cooperative and helpful. We hope to complete our further immigration procedure in the same way.
Good luck and keep going!
A great place for the overseas solutions, had a conversation with Seema Bhavsar for my Canada visa process, and she guided with all the process and even she explained with very easy methods, earlier i was not sure what to do but after Seema guidance i have started the process. A special thanks to Seema and her team Winny Immigration.
Finding an immigration consultant is no piece of cake but Winny is surely cherry on that cake!! I visited Winny’s Ahmedabad office and it proved to be an one stop solution for everything. Ms. Monika Jha is an amazing counsellor. She cleared all our doubts, gave excellent guidance and regularly checked upon us during the process. The case officers, teaching faculty, counsellors and the admin team at Winny are a 10/10 recommend for immigration.
I am from Ahmedabad and planning to immigrate canada. After inquiry in so many consultancy i found Winny has good transparency. in first inquiry they cleared all my doubt and tell me what is process and how much it take times. Most important is that all process is online. it save time for working professional.
One of the best consulting firms I’ve come across is very transparent and has high-skilled employees. From the last two years, I’ve been planning to go through the Canadian PR process and have visited many consultancy firms for information. Each one gave me different information, but one of my friends suggested Winny Immigration because Winny is an authorized consultant through the Canadian Government. I visited Winny and decided to start my journey with Winny Immigration. The experience and support I received from them was great.
