The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program conducted a new draw on August 3 and issued invitations to aleast 166 candidates in five different categories.
The BC PNP Tech stream invited 133 skilled workers and international graduates with a minimum score of 90 points.
A draw targeted at Early Childhood Educators under NOC 4214 saw 22 invitations issued to skilled workers and international graduates, with a minimum score of 60 points.
A further 9 invitations were sent to healthcare workers scoring at least 60 points in a draw targeted at skilled workers, international graduates, and entry level and semi-skilled workers.
In a draw specifically for Healthcare Assistants under NOC 3413, fewer than five invitations were issued to entry level and semi-skilled workers scoring at least 60 points. The number was recorded as ‘less than 5’ to protect the identity of those invited.
A final draw, which targeted other priority occupations under NOCs 3114 and 3213, resulted in less than 5 invitations.
