Canada Express Entry Closing report 2019

2019 has been a record-breaking year for Express Entry Immigration program in Canada. The year’s closing report for Express Entry was out on June 29, 2020, and it says possibilities of profile approvals are increasing every year. Since the end of 2018 highest application approvals were 92,229 and now with the end of 2019 report, a new record of 109,595 has been sated. Such big successful principle applicants and their family member’s permanent residents through Express Entry clearly show the increasing future requirements of Canada for immigrants.

On the other hand, a small decrease in the number of ITAs issued in 2019 has been noticed in comparison with the previous year. In 2018 it was 89,800 and in 2019 it was 85,300 which is just 5% but the announcement for the future requirement till 2022 is more amazing as it is coming with a bunch of opportunities.

Express Entry is an online system that was launched in 2015 and used to manage immigration applications through three immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, and Canadian Experience Class. With this immigration program, many Provincial Nominee Program streams are aligned too.

Announcement of government for Canada’s recent most Immigration Levels Plan, says that Canada is going to add more than 1 million new permanent residents between 2020 and 2022. From such news, the growth of Express Entry is crystal clear and it is clearly visible that Canada is positioning to rise the unit of immigrants acknowledge to the country annually.  An impact of COVID-19 on Canadian immigration is one of the reasons for the possibility of an increase in 2020 approvals.
