Express Entry CEC Draw Canada PNP IRCC French Speakers French-Speaking Skilled Workers

IRCC held another Express Entry for Canadian Experience Class on June 10 issuing 6000 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to the candidates with the cut-off Comprehensive Ranking (CRS) score 368 points.

The selected candidates are required to have at least one year of work experience in Canada to be eligible for the draw along with intermediate language proficiency skill in English or French.

The tie breaking rule was implemented in this draw for the profiles that were submitted before April 28, 2021 at 05:45:14 UTC. Means the candidates who have minimum score of 368 points would have received the invitation provided they have submitted their profile before the given time. This was a major Express Entry draw held with quite low CRS requirement.

This is another huge draw from IRCC for Canadian Experience Class where they are inviting the candidates who are already working in Canada and have experience of working there. IRCC, in order to fulfil their targets to invite the immigrants, holds the draw for the candidates who are already within borders and offers them opportunity to secure PR.

In Canadian Experience Class the cut-off score has been declining continuously making it easier for the applicant to apply for PR. In February, IRCC held the draw with the lowest cut-off score in history with just 75 points. IRCC has target of inviting about 4 lakh immigrants by end of the year and they did not meet their requirement previously. Considering the current situation and the border restriction, they are inviting the candidates who are currently on-shore and working in Canada itself.

However, the candidates around the world must be waiting for the all-program draw where they may get a chance to receive Invitation to Apply and attain PR for which they have been investing their time, energy and money. We can anticipate what is coming.

Express Entry is a system that the federal government uses to manage applications for Canada’s three main economic-class programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). In addition to that, the most provinces also have immigration streams that are aligned with the Express Entry system.

In the Express Entry system, candidates are ranked based on their CRS score that considers multiple factors including their age, work experience, education and proficiency in French or English. In some cases, the date and time at which the Express Entry profile was created is also a ranking factor.
