Canada has issued 5,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in a new Express Entry draw aimed at Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates on March 18 with a Required Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for the draw was just 449 points.
The tie-breaking rule was applied for this draw where the applications submitted before February 19, 2021, at 11:59 EST with a CRS score of 449 points and above to receive the invitation.
Express Entry is Canada’s application management system for three federal immigration programs Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class. Candidates in these programs, as well as some PNPs, are given a score based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). These points are awarded based on the principal applicant’s human capital factors such as age, education, work experience, and language ability in English or French.
The highest-scoring candidates receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency through regular Express Entry rounds of invitation. After making an application, IRCC will make a final decision on their immigration application and send them a Confirmation of Permanent Residence if their application is successful. The last step for approved permanent residents is to make their landing in Canada and apply for their PR card. At this point, they have officially immigrated to Canada, and can eventually apply for citizenship.
IRCC plans to welcome about 110,000 immigrants per year through Express Entry in the new 2021-2023 Immigration Levels Plan. By now, IRCC has held four draws in January and invited 10,000 candidates. Also, take note here that IRCC is yet to hold an all-program draw this year.
Canada set a new record for total ITAs in 2020 at 107,350, despite the year being marred by a coronavirus. The previous record for ITAs in a calendar year was the 89,800 issued in 2018. This was the ninth round of invitations under Express Entry in 2021 and 179th overall.
I have had a wonderful career-changing experience with Winny. They have really good knowledge, experience and the right people to do the job. Ofcourse, there are many products and may/may not fit all people. But Winny does guide you very well with all information that is required to make the best call for yourself. Remember Winny is to guide you, help you for a career path. A Profile’s success & failure is on the Embassy and Candidate solely. There were a few hiccups in my profile from the embassy side, but it was handled PERFECTLY by the team Winny. That’s what makes it outstanding than all other immigration consultants. I have referred many of my friends and shall continue doing the same. Keep up the good work 💪 Winny!
My experience at Winny is nice. They are very cooperative and giving their client proper suggestions and guidance. Even in pandemic, staff was making all the efforts to function normally. They provide professional service and really extremely great advice. I appreciate the Winny team for their services. They are focusing on accuracy which is good part. Still my process is not completed but till now I am satisfied with the services. Definitely going to recommend to everyone.
