The latest BC PNP draw of 2023 on May 16, 2023 sent out 202 invitations to apply for permanent residency in general draw as well as targeted draws.

 

General Draw

In the general draw of the BC PNP, a total of 162 invitations were sent out. This draw includes various occupations, including those in the tech sector. The general draw is open to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria of the BC PNP and possess the required skills and work experience. The BC PNP aims to attract skilled workers who can contribute to the growth of the province’s economy. The remaining 40 invitations were sent out in targeted draws.

 

Targeted Draws

Apart from the general draw, the BC PNP also conducted targeted draws to address specific labor market needs. In this latest draw, 29 invitations were issued to individuals with experience in the Early Childhood Educator occupation. Early Childhood Educators play a crucial role in providing quality care and education to young children, and the demand for professionals in this field is high, and 11 invites were sent out to 39 healthcare-related occupations.

 

Cutoff Score

The cutoff score is the minimum score that an applicant must have to receive an invitation to apply for permanent residency. In the latest BC PNP draw, the cutoff score remains the same across all categories as compared to the last general draw. Below are the breakdowns of the cutoff scores
