Latest Express Entry Draw invites 4,750 immigration candidates

Express Entry Draw
  • November 10, 2022

On November 9, Canada held its most recent all-program Express Entry draw. All-program draws resumed on July 6 and this is the tenth draw since then.

In total, 4,750 candidates received invitations from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 494. Candidates were invited from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). The Express Entry system governs all of these programs.

As per the tie-break rule, candidates who had the minimum score were only included if they had submitted their profiles before June 06,2022 20:48:23 UTC.

Starting in December 2020 Express Entry all-program draws were paused for over 18 months. During the pause, only applicants from the CEC and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) received invitations to apply (ITAs). Due to COVID-19-related travel restrictions, the draws were paused. IRCC also paused CEC draws in September 2021.

This is the second round of candidate invitations to be held in a row, following the one on October 26. Only two points decreased in the minimum CRS, down from 496, the smallest drop since all-program draws resumed.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada says new applications will be processed in the six-month standard for Express Entry. Candidates have a 60-day window to submit their applications.
