Manitoba held a draw on January 14, 2021 where 272 Letter of Advice to Apply were issued to candidates enabling them to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence.
The invitations, also known as Letters of Advice, to Apply (LAAs) were issued to aspirants under the three streams, along with their required minimum Expression of Interest (EOI) scores:
Note: Out of the total 272 Letter of Advice to Apply (LOA) issued, 18 candidates with Valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code were issued LOA.
MPNP only considered the Skilled Worker Overseas candidates in the draw if they were directly invited under the strategic recruitment initiative.
The streams Skilled Workers Overseas Category and Skilled Workers allow the province to nominate the skilled workers who can support the province’s labour market needs.
If the candidate has scored higher than the minimum score but did not receive the LAA in this draw, it could be because of the following reasons:
The candidates who are in one of the above given scenarios can update their EOI profile with the correct information and they will be considered for the next draw.
The candidates who are working in the regulated occupation are invited in this draw. The province may refuse the candidates who are not working in a regulated occupation, or did not provide the proof of having completed the licensing steps to be employed in the province. The candidates who are in this situation have the option to decline their LAA.
