In a draw held on October 10, Manitoba has invited 194 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence. The invited candidates are those having their profile registered under Manitoba’s Skilled Worker, international education stream or skilled worker overseas.
In addition to the draw held, Manitoba has issued 6, 574 Letters of Advice (LAA) to the candidates. Of the 193 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs), 24 belongs to the candidates falling under Federal Express Entry System.
Candidates who will qualify for the Express Entry Pool are ranked based on a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) that includes factors such as work experience, education, and language ability. The candidates with highest score are then invited to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence through the regular draws conducted from Express Entry Pool.
The candidates who receive provincial nomination are awarded an additional 600 CRS points and are effectively assured with an invitation to apply from IRCC.
To be eligible for the provincial nomination from Manitoba, Express Entry candidates must hold eligible work experience in one of Manitoba’s in-demand occupation, and submit individual separate expression of Interest with the MPNP.
