February 4, 2020 – The 82nd Manitoba Expression of Interest draw took place on January 30. The draw has issued an invitation to immigration candidates applying for a provincial nomination for permanent residence.
Apart from express entry candidates, international graduates and skilled workers too are invited to apply.
Those who opt for an express entry pathway to immigration are allotted a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score that analyzes the factors such as age, work experience, education and language proficiency (English or French).
The highest scoring candidates are invited to apply for permanent residence in regular express entry draws.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) sent 181 letters of advice to apply to candidates from following streams –
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 124
- Skilled Workers Overseas: 39
- International Education Stream: 18
Out of the 181 LAAs issued in the draw, 11 were sent to candidates had a valid express entry profile.
