Manitoba issues 249 invitations to immigration candidates with Expression of Interest profiles

January 20.2020 – The latest draw held by the government of Manitoba has invited both skilled workers in Manitoba and international student graduates

The Manitoba provincial nominee program (MPNP) has issued a total of 249 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to the applicants in the three streams – Skilled workers in ManitobaSkilled workers overseas, and International education.  

Out of 249 invitations in the Manitoba’s draw, 22 candidates belonged to the express entry pool. The express entry is a selection system designed to select skilled workers seeking to immigrate to Canada.  

Express Entry candidates are allotted scores based on a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) that measures factors such as age, education, work experience, and language skills (English or French). Candidates with the highest score are invited to apply for permanent residence based on draws that take place from the express entry pool.

All the invitation was distributed as follows:

  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 192
  • Skilled Workers Overseas: 34
  • International Education Stream: 23
