In Pinawa, international entrepreneurs are now more likely than ever to start new businesses through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), a collaboration between the local government district and the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. Their joint efforts led to the creation of the Pinawa International Entrepreneurship Program.
The program was originally scheduled to start in August 2020, but was suspended due to COVID. However, now this program is live as of October 6, 2022. This new program is part of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Business Investor Stream. The best part about this program is that it requires low investment, has faster processing, allows for exploratory visits, and does not require any draw.
The program promotes, attracts, and analyzes foreign entrepreneurs who want to start or expand their business in Pinawa. The Pinawa International Entrepreneurship Program allows entrepreneurs to move to Pinawa, Manitoba, Canada, settle, create, and invest in a business.
The following requirements must be met to qualify for MPNP’s Business Investor Stream:
• Have a business background and be an international entrepreneur
• Have strong business ideas and plan to establish your business in Pinawa
• Ensure that you have a network of specialized support for your business development and to connect you with resources that will help you.
The Pinawa International Business Committee will invite you for an exploratory visit if you are selected as a successful candidate. Local Government District of Pinawa will provide you with a letter of support as a successful candidate.
