Manitoba PNP draw invites 277

Manitoba invited total 277 candidates on July 9 to apply for provincial nomination to get PR through Provincial Nomination under MPNP.

Skilled worker candidates needed to have profiles in Manitoba’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system to be invited. The results of the latest draw are as follows:

• Skilled Workers in Manitoba— 201 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 445;
• Skilled Workers Overseas— 53 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 703; and
• International Education Stream — 23 invitations with no EOI score requirement.

A total of 48 invitations, also known as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs), went to Express Entry candidates.

Express Entry program assesses your profile based on the factors like age, work experience, educational qualification, language skills and certain additional factors. Instead of going for PNP, you can directly apply for Express Entry profile where you can be invited for PR. But applying for PNP helps you as you receive the provincial nomination from any province will gain 600 points for CRS Score which ensures ITA.

Submitting a profile in the Express Entry pool is the first step to applying for a provincial nomination to Manitoba.

Manitoba immigration programs

Manitoba manages its immigration programs through the MPNP, which supports immigration applications to the federal government. Canadian provinces do not have the ability to give out permanent residency status, but they can help an application along by issuing provincial nominations.
