By announcing 2nd PNP draw in two weeks, Manitoba has proved & become friendly for International student graduates & professionally skilled workers as they have been invited to apply for Manitoba’s provincial nomination.

On November 19, Manitoba announced its Provincial Nominee Program  (PNP) draw & in total the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) sent 196 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to immigration applicants.

It was an invite for immigration applicants to apply for permanent residence under the provincial nomination program of Canada. Manitoba has considered three major streams of immigration:

Note: This year in 2020, Manitoba has issued 4,469 invitations to the immigration applicants so far. This is amazing news for the applicants who wish to settle in Manitoba, Canada.

If candidates scored higher than the minimum ranking, but did not receive an LAA, it could be because:

  • Their third-party language test did not have a valid test number;
  • Their language test is no longer valid; or
  • The candidate was invited under a strategic recruitment initiative, but they did not send a valid invitation number.

As per IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada), qualified applicants for the EE pool are prioritized considering the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score that is calculated among the factors i.e. age, work experience, education, and language ability.

An applicant with the highest score gets an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence through regular draws  from the EE pool. All recipients get an additional 600 CRS points in bonus and get guaranteed selection from IRCC.

EE applicants having such invitations from Manitoba should have a valid Express Entry ID and provided a job seeker validation code to get eligible.

People who wish to migrate to Canada via MPNP require a registration on an Expression of Interest with the MPNP to receive an LAA through the  Skilled Workers in Manitoba  and Skilled Workers Overseas streams.

Manitoba’s system calculates points of applicants out of 1,000 under the characteristics for human capital like their English or French language skills, education, work experience, Manitoba connections, and other factors.
