Manitoba started the year by inviting a total of 443 candidates on January 13 to apply for provincial nomination in to get PR through Provincial Nomination under the MPNP. The draw issued the Letter of Advice to apply to the candidates of Skilled Worker in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas and International Education Stream. The results are as follows:
Among these invitations, 97 were issued to candidates in the Express Entry system.
The Skilled Worker Overseas Stream (SWO) includes both a dedicated Canada Express Entry Pathway and a direct provincial pathway.
The program is targeted towards skilled international workers with skills and training in Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations. Priority is given to applicants and spouses with close family connections, plus the language proficiency, training and experience needed to find jobs.
For international candidates who meet both the MPNP and Express Entry criteria, who also have a profile with an active Express Entry. Applicants need skills, training, and experience related to one of Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations as well as strong family connection to the province
For immigrants with skills, training and experience in one of Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations. Candidates must demonstrate potential to find employment soon after they arrive in Manitoba.
The International Education Stream (IES) is for international graduates of Manitoba colleges and universities. Candidates are no longer required to work in their field for six months before applying for an MPNP nomination under IES. It has three routes:
