Nova Scotia issued 314 letters of interest to apply for a provincial nomination to Express Entry candidates who meet the eligibility and work experience criteria of its new Labour Market Stream. Express Entry Candidates invited through the Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities must provide the evidence of two years of experience in the NOC 4214 (Early Childhood Educators and Assistants) under the Government of Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2016. To receive a Letter of Interest under the stream, the work experience in Express Entry profile must match with the job description for the occupation listed in the federal government’s NOC 2016 according to NSOI. Selected candidate will have to provide letters of reference from previous employers with company letterhead, signature by responsible human resource officer, supervisor or manager, company’s full name, address, telephone number, website, and email with company’s official seal. The document should include the following information: specific period of employment with the company, positions held during the period of employment and the time spent in each position, main responsibility and duties in each position, number of hours worked per week, proof that work experience meet the lead statement and majority of main duties as described in NOC 2016.
