Ontario Conducts Express Entry Draws: 417 Candidates Invited

Ontario immigration held two draws on June 5 through the Express Entry-linked French Speaking Skilled Worker (FSSW) stream. In total, 417 candidates from 98 occupations received Notifications of Interest (NOIs).

 

Draw 1: Health, Education, and Finance Occupations

In this draw, 278 invitations were issued to candidates with occupations such as financial managers, human resources managers, administrative officers, specialists in clinical and laboratory medicine, registered nurses, psychologists, and more. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score range was between 312 and 487.

 

Draw 2: Tech, Trades, and Other Priority Occupations

The second draw targeted occupations such as engineering managers, computer and information systems managers, data scientists, software engineers, civil engineers, machinists, electricians, plumbers, and many others. A total of 139 invitations were sent, with a CRS score range of 348 to 487.

 

Requirements and Language Proficiency

To qualify for both draws, candidates must have submitted Express Entry profiles within the last year. Additionally, a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 7 in French and 6 in English is required to be eligible for the FSSW program.
