Ontario held another draw on December 15 and invited 443 candidates from Express Entry pool to apply for the provincial nomination under Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) program. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off was between 469 and 477 points.
The candidates invited must have work experience in one of the following occupations:
NOC Code | Title |
0111 | Financial managers |
0124 | Advertising, marketing and public relations managers |
0601 | Corporate sales managers |
1111 | Financial auditors and accountants |
1114 | Other financial officers |
1122 | Professional occupations in business management consulting |
3012 | Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses |
3124 | Allied primary health practitioners |
3132 | Dieticians and nutritionists |
The candidates invited may be eligible for Ontario Express Entry: Human Capital Priorities Stream. If the candidates receive for invitation, they will be awarded an additional 600 CRS points, and they will be guaranteed to receive Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian PR in Express Entry as the Express Entry draws in recent weeks have CRS cut-off around 470 points.
The enhanced Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allows the OINP to nominate candidates from the Express Entry pool for PR. To be eligible under the Human Capital Priorities Stream, candidates need to meet the eligibility requirements for one of Canada’s Federal High Skilled programs, which could be either the Federal Skilled Worker Program, or the Canadian Experience Class.
Candidates are not required to have job offer, but they need to meet the certain work experience for eligibility criteria. They must have at least one year of paid, full-time work experience, or the part-time equivalent, completed within the past five years. This can be international work experience, or Canadian work experience.
