Quebec has released details of its latest Arrima Draw

On May 4, 2023, Quebec’s Arrima draw provided 802 new invitations for permanent residency (PR) as part of the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP). The details of the draw were released on May 11, 2023.

 

Valid Profiles Considered

The Quebec Arrima draw on May 4, 2023, considered valid profiles that were found in the Quebec Arrima bank until 6:30 a.m. on May 1, 2023. This means that those who created or updated their Arrima profiles after this date and time were not considered for this round of invitations.

 

Targeted Occupations

This round of invitations was targeted towards Arrima profiles with 27 NOCs/occupations that had a score of 575 or more. The NOCs that were targeted in this draw include:

  • 2281 Computer network technicians
  • 2282 User support technicians
  • 2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers
  • 2241 Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians
  • 2147 Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers)
  • 0213 Computer and information systems managers
  • 2173 Software engineers and designers
  • 2175 Web designers and developers
  • 5241 Graphic designers and illustrators
  • 2172 Database analysts and data administrators
  • 5225 Audio and video recording technicians
  • 5223 Graphic arts technicians
  • 4031 Secondary school teachers
  • 4032 Elementary school and kindergarten teachers
  • 3012 Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
  • 3413 Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates
  • 3233 Licensed practical nurses
  • 2131 Civil engineers

Valid Job Offers Outside of Montreal

In addition to the targeted occupations, this draw also considered profiles with a valid job offer outside the territory of the Metropolitan Community of Montreal. This move is in line with Quebec’s aim to promote regionalization and decentralization.

Quebec has issued 6,099 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through seven Arrima rounds of invitations this year.
