Quebec invited 169 skilled worker candidates in latest Arrima draw

October 25, 2019 – The latest draw held by the Quebec province has issued a new invitation under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program. The province has invited 169 skilled workers in the latest Arrima draw.

According to Quebec’s immigration ministry, the invited candidates in the latest round were 16, 000 Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) candidates. The QSWP candidates are the ones who have their original applications to the program annulled by the passage of reforms to Quebec’s immigration act into law on June 16, 2019. All the invited candidates on September 25 had an expression of interest in Arrima. 

What is Arrima?

Arrima is an online portal for Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) candidates seeking to apply for permanent residence in Canada. Based on Arrima portal, the Quebec government aims to minimize the processing time of PR applications. 

The candidates interested to move in Quebec through the QSWP program can create their profile Arrima portal. Further, the eligible ones will be into the virtual pool through which the government of Quebec will select candidates on a priority basis through periodic draws to invite to apply for the Quebec Selection Certificate.
