A CSQ allows a candidate to apply for permanent residence in Quebec.
The Expression of Interest (EOI) based online system replaced the first-come first served system which was meant to considering applications to Quebec Skilled Worker Program.
Candidates under the EOI system create a profile in Arrima and allotted a score depending on the factors such as education, age, work experience and proficiency in French language.
Candidates are eligible to apply for Certificate de selection du Quebec (CSQ) on the basis of factors such as labor shortages in the province’s outlying regions.
Those candidates who receive invitation from CSQ are eligible to apply for permanent residence through Canada’s federal immigration ministry.
