Saskatchewan issues 234 invitations in second January selection round

January 13, 2020 –     Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP) has issued 234 invitations to apply for permanent residence for the applicants under Express Entry and Occupation In-demand stream categories.

The EOI systems let province to select eligible candidates who are keen to work and settle in Saskatchewan. Applicants are assessed based on factors such as education, age, language ability (English or French) or potential to settle into life in Saskatchewan.

Applicants are provided a score out of 100 based on SINP’s international skilled worker points assessment grid. The highest-scoring candidates are invited to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence status.

For both the categories, the minimum score required in the January 13th draw was 69.

No job offer is required to receive an invitation from Saskatchewan. However, applicants must have one year of work experience in an eligible skilled occupation relevant to their field of study.
