Candidates with practical market experience from one of the in-demand occupations were invited in the latest draw held on November 19 by Saskatchewan.

A total of 551 immigration candidates were selected to apply for permanent residence under the Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP).

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) invited candidates from the International Skilled Worker  category through two subcategories:  Express Entry, and Occupations In-Demand.

To get selected candidates need to register under an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile with the SINP. To invite potential candidates, the SINP uses an EOI system to select appropriate candidature to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence in order to fulfil job market requirements.

For both the categories a minimum cut-off score requirement was 78 but from there the requirements differed. In total 214 Express Entry candidates were invited and to be qualified they need 78 points and 10 years of work experience and a Canadian Language Benchmark  (CLB) of 8 or higher.

The Occupations In-Demand or a provincial nomination, and like the Express Entry sub-category, candidates needed a provincial score of 80 in order to be chosen.

Candidates who wish to work or migrate to Saskatchewan must create an EOI profile and prove their capabilities to settle by showing their valid work experience, education, language ability, age, and connections to the province.

Consider above mentioned five factors, the SINP gives a score out of 100 on the International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid to registered candidates.

In the order of highest scoring applications to lowest scoring applications, they issue an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.

An Educational Credential Assessment shows how foreign degrees, diplomas, and certificates compare to Canadian credentials is required to get elected after getting selected under both the categories.
