1,694 Express Entry Profiles Invited in Latest Ontario-OINP Draw

Ontario PNP Tech Draw CRS Heath and tech
  • May 18, 2023

On May 18, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a draw where 1,694 Express Entry profiles were directly invited to apply for provincial nomination under the Skilled Trades Stream.

To be eligible for the invitation, valid Express Entry profiles created between May 18, 2022, and May 18, 2023, were considered. These profiles needed to have a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 250 and 489 in 46 specific occupations/NOCs.

It’s important to note that a separate OINP profile is not required to be eligible for the Express Entry Skilled Trades draw. However, the profiles must be associated with one of the 46 Skilled Trades occupations.

Receiving a provincial nomination confers an additional 600 points to the existing Express Entry profile. Therefore, all the profiles invited in this draw, if they choose to claim their Ontario Provincial Nomination, will experience a significant increase in their Express Entry CRS score, ranging from 850 to 1,089.

This draw marks the fifth OINP Express Entry Skilled Trades stream draw of 2023, and a total of 4,668 profiles have been invited so far.
