Living costs in France are very low. In cities like Bordeaux, Lyon or Toulouse you can get by with 850 to 1,000 euros per month, including accommodation. In some smaller towns you might spend even less while in Paris, the capital, the expected cost may be 1,250 to 1,400 euros per month.
