The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held a draw on July 13, 2023, inviting 540 applicants for permanent residency (PR).
The draw targeted candidates in the following categories:
Skilled Worker in Manitoba
Occupation-specific selection: Profiles declaring current employment in Manitoba in occupations identified with high labour needs were considered.
The occupations under the following National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 broad categories and major groups were considered in this draw:
All occupations
All profiles that were not selected in the occupation-specific selection were considered.
International Education Stream
Profiles that declared meeting International Education Stream eligibility requirements.
Skilled Worker Overseas
Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
Of the 540 LAAs issued in this draw, 77 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
This is the latest in a series of MPNP draws that have been targeting occupations with high labour needs in Manitoba. The MPNP is actively recruiting skilled workers to help meet the province’s economic growth goals.
