Alberta has invited 304 candidates in three Express Entry draws held between July 4 and 13, 2023. The draws targeted candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores between 300 and 1,200
The latest draw, held on July 13, 2023, invited 142 candidates with a CRS score of 302 or above. This draw targeted Express Entry profiles having a family connection in Alberta and primary occupation/NOC code in one of the in-demand occupations.
The previous draw, held on July 11, 2023, invited 150 candidates with a CRS score of 435 or above with an Alberta job offer in Tourism and hospitality occupation.
The draw, held on July 4, 2023, invited 12 candidates with a CRS score of 354 or above and an Alberta job offer in the healthcare occupation.
Alberta has a total quota of 9,750 for 2023; out of which 4,875 is set aside for Express Entry profiles.
It is important to note that not all the invited Express Entry candidates accept the nomination, and not everyone is landed within the same year after the invitation, given longer processing time for PNPs.
Alberta also updated the list of occupations with a high volume of applications in worker streams. These occupations may take longer than usual for processing. The occupations are:
