The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held a targeted draw on October 24, 2023, issuing more than 157 invitations to apply for permanent residency (PR) to candidates in tech, healthcare, and childcare.

  • Tech Draw: 101 invitations were issued to candidates in 35 tech occupations across all BC PNP Skills Immigration and Express Entry streams.
  • Early Childhood Educator Draw: 34 invitations were issued to candidates with experience as early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202).
  • Healthcare Draw: 22 invitations were issued to candidates in 39 healthcare-related occupations.
  • Other Priority Occupations Draw: <5 invitations were issued to candidates in two other priority occupations: veterinarians (NOC 31103) and animal health technologists and veterinary technicians (NOC 32104).

The cutoff score for all categories remains unchanged compared to the last targeted round of invitations.

Processing Timeframes and Next BC PNP Draw 2023:

Processing timeframes, based on 80% of cases, commence when the BC PNP receives a complete application post-draw.

The upcoming BC PNP Draw is scheduled for November 1, 2023, featuring both general and targeted draws. The targeted draws will focus on 35 tech occupations, Early Childhood Educators, 39 Healthcare occupations, and other priority occupations (NOCs 31103 and 32104).

BC PNP Draws are conducted consistently every week on Tuesday/Wednesday, alternating between general draws and tech/healthcare targeted draws. Stay tuned for the latest updates and opportunities in the BC PNP program.
