The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held a targeted draw on July 5, 2023, inviting 137 applicants to apply for permanent residency (PR). The draw targeted candidates in tech, healthcare, and early childhood education occupations.
- Tech: A total of 97 invitations were issued in a targeted draw for 35 tech occupations across the BC PNP Skills Immigration and Express Entry streams.
- Early Childhood Education: 23 invitations were specifically targeted at profiles with experience as Early Childhood Educators and assistants (NOC 42202).
- Healthcare: 17 invitations were allocated to profiles in 39 healthcare-related occupations.
The upcoming BC PNP draw is scheduled for July 12, 2023. It is expected to be a general draw, encompassing BC PNP profiles across all occupations, as well as tech and healthcare occupations.
