BC PNP Invites more than 204 Candidates in Targeted Draw for Tech, Early Childhood Educators, & Healthcare Workers

The latest British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) draw, held on September 26, 2023, invited more than 204 candidates to apply for permanent residency (PR). The invitations were issued in targeted draws for tech occupations, early childhood educators and assistants, and healthcare workers.

  • Tech occupations: 127 invitations were issued to candidates with experience in 35 tech occupations under all BC PNP Skills Immigration streams as well as Express Entry streams. The cutoff score for this draw was 90, an increase of 2 points from the previous tech-only draw on September 12.
  • Early childhood educators and assistants: 49 invitations were issued to candidates with experience as early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202).
  • Healthcare workers: 28 invitations were issued to candidates with experience in 39 healthcare-related occupations.
  • Other priority occupations: A small number of invitations (<5) were issued to candidates with experience in other priority occupations (NOCs 31003 and 32104).

Processing times:

  • Skills Immigration: 3 months
  • Post-nomination requests: 3 months

These processing times are based on 80% of cases and begin when the BC PNP receives a complete application after the draw.
