BC PNP Issues 161 Targeted Invitations to Apply for PR

The most recent draw from the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) took place on November 21, 2023, resulting in the issuance of 161 invitations for permanent residency (PR) through targeted draws.

In this draw, 93 invitations were specifically allocated to individuals in 35 tech occupations, covering all BC PNP Skills Immigration streams and Express Entry streams. The cutoff score remained consistent with the previous targeted invitation round by BC PNP.

Additionally, 27 invitations were extended to candidates with experience as early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202). Notably, a new category-based draw targeted 24 applicants with expertise in 25 construction occupations, setting a cutoff score of 75.

Furthermore, 17 invitations were directed towards profiles in 39 healthcare-related occupations.

 

BC PNP Processing Times

  • Skills Immigration: 3 Months
  • Post-nomination requests: 3 Months

Processing timeframes are calculated based on 80% of cases and commence when the BC PNP receives a complete application after the draw.

 

Next BC PNP Draw – November 28 or 29, 2023

The upcoming BC PNP Draw is anticipated to occur on November 28 or 29, 2023. This draw is expected to encompass both general and targeted categories, including 35 tech occupations, early childhood educators, 25 construction occupations, and 39 healthcare occupations.

BC PNP Draws are conducted consistently every week on either Tuesday or Wednesday, alternating between general draws and targeted draws for tech and healthcare occupations.
