BC PNP Issues More Than 225 Invitations to Apply for Permanent Residency

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) issued more than 225 invitations to apply for permanent residency (PR) in targeted draws on July 25, 2023.

The general draw invited 175 candidates with profiles in all occupations, including the 35 tech occupations. The targeted draws invited 30 candidates with experience as early childhood educators and assistants, 20 candidates in healthcare-related occupations, and less than 5 candidates in the occupations of veterinarians and animal health technologists.

The cutoff score for the general draw remained the same as the previous draw on July 11. The processing time for BC PNP applications is typically 2 to 3 months.

BC PNP Draw - July 25

The next BC PNP draw is scheduled for August 1, 2023. It is expected to be a targeted draw for profiles with experience and job offers in all occupations, as well as targeted draws for the 35 tech occupations, 39 healthcare occupations, and early childhood educators and other priority occupations.

BC PNP draws are held every week on Tuesdays, alternating between general draws and tech-only draws.
