The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held a draw on August 22, 2023, inviting more than 225 candidates to apply for permanent residency (PR). The draw included both general and targeted invitations.
- General draw: 169 invitations were issued in the general draw, targeting all occupations, including 35 tech occupations. The minimum CRS score for the general draw was 93, which is one point lower than the previous draw on August 9.
- Targeted draws: The BC PNP also issued targeted invitations to 33 candidates with experience as Early Childhood Educators and Assistants (NOC 42202), 23 candidates in 39 healthcare-related occupations & And up to five ITAs were sent to attract veterinarians and their staff, animal health technologists and veterinary technicians, categorized under the NOC with the codes 31103 and 32104 respectively

Processing timeframes are calculated based on 80% of cases and commence once the BC PNP receives a complete application subsequent to selection.
The next BC PNP draw is expected to be held on August 29, 2023. The BC PNP holds draws every week on Wednesdays, alternating between general draws and tech-only draws.
