On April 19, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program announced over 174 invitations through its multiple streams. In total, there were two draws: general and targeted.
A total of 147 invitations were issued through the five BC PNP streams for skilled workers and international graduates in the general draw which included tech occupations. Minimum scores ranged from 77 to 125 points.
In the targeted draw, a further 20 invitations were issued to skilled workers and international graduates scoring at least 70 points in a draw targeting Early Childhood Educators and Assistants under NOC 4214.
7 invitations were issued to skilled workers, international graduates, entry-level and semi-skilled workers in a draw focused on healthcare workers with a minimum score of 70 points.
Less than 5 targeted invitations were sent to skilled workers and international graduates under NOCs 3114 and 3213 for veterinarians and animal health technologists, respectively, with a minimum score of 70.
