The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) conducted a new draw on December 5th, issuing 193 invitations to skilled workers and international graduates across several targeted streams. Breakdown of Invitations:

  • Technology Draw: 92 invitations were issued to skilled workers and international graduates with a minimum score of 94 points. This draw targeted occupations critical to the province’s thriving tech sector.
  • Early Childhood Education Draw: 46 invitations were issued to skilled workers and international graduates holding the Early Childhood Educator and Assistant occupation (NOC 42202) and scoring at least 60 points. This draw aims to address the growing need for qualified educators in this vital field.
  • Construction Draw: 31 invitations were issued to skilled workers in the construction industry with a minimum score of 75 points. This draw supports the province’s efforts to address the ongoing labor shortage in the construction sector.
  • Healthcare Draw: 24 invitations were issued to skilled workers and international graduates in healthcare occupations with a minimum score of 60 points. This draw underscores the BC PNP’s commitment to attracting and retaining qualified professionals to ensure the province’s healthcare system remains strong.
