On July 12, British Columbia conducted new draws, issuing at least 166 invitations through multiple streams of its Provincial Nominee Program. The draws were divided into two categories: general and targeted.

A total of 132 invitations were sent through five BC PNP streams for skilled workers and international graduates in the general draw, which included tech occupations. Minimum scores ranged from 78 to 130 points.

In the targeted draw, a further 22 invitations were issued to skilled workers and international graduates scoring at least 60 points in a draw targeting Early Childhood Educators and Assistants under NOC 4214

In a draw targeted at Healthcare workers, 10 invitations were sent to skilled workers, international graduates, entry-level and semi-skilled workers, with a minimum score of 60 points.

An additional invitation went out to entry-level and semi-skilled workers with a minimum score of 60, specifically Healthcare Assistants under NOC 3413. The number of invitations was listed as ‘less than five’ to protect their identities.

A total of less than 5 targeted invitations were sent to skilled workers and international graduates under NOCs 3114 and 3213 for veterinarians and animal health technologists, respectively, with a minimum score of 60.
