British Columbia PNP Draw invited more than 230 applicants for permanent residency under five categories on October 4. Draws were split into two categories: general and targeted.
A total of 184 invitations were issued through five BC PNP streams for skilled workers and international graduates in the general draw, which included tech occupations. The minimum score ranged from 82 to 120 points.
The targeted draw also invited 32 skilled workers and graduates with at least 60 points to apply as Early Childhood Educators and Assistants under NOC 4214.
In a draw targeted at healthcare workers, 13 invitations were sent to skilled workers, international graduates, and entry-level and semi-skilled workers with a minimum score of 60.
Another set of ‘less than 5’ invitations went to entry-level and semi-skilled workers targeted at Healthcare Assistants under NOC 3413, with a minimum score of 60. In order to protect the identities of those invited, the invitations were listed as ‘less than 5’.
In the final pool of ‘less than 5’ targeted invitations, skilled workers and international graduates under NOC 3114 and 3213 were invited, with a minimum score of 60 for veterinarians and animal health technologists.
