British Columbia PNP Draws Issues More Than 200 Invitations

In a new round of draws on March 22, British Columbia issued more than 200 invitations through multiple streams of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program. This draws were split into three broad categories: general, targeted and entrepreneur.

 A total of 132 invitations were issued through five BC PNP streams for skilled workers and international graduates in the general draw, which included tech occupations. The minimum score ranged from 77 to 128 points.

 

There were four draws for candidates in targeted occupations:

  • 47 invitations were sent to skilled workers and international graduates scoring 78 or more points in a draw targeting Early Childhood Educators under NOC 4214.
  • 11 invitations were issued in a draw aimed at Healthcare workers, including skilled workers, international graduates, entry-level and semi-skilled workers with a minimum score of 78 points.
  • Entry level and semi-skilled workers with scores of at least 63 were invited to apply specifically for Healthcare Assistants under NOC 3413. A total of less than 5 invitations were issued.
  • 9 invitations, with a minimum score of 78, were addressed to skilled workers and international graduates under NOCs 3114 and 3213 for veterinarians and animal health technologists, respectively.

 

Lastly, through the Entrepreneur Stream, less than 5 invitations were issued to Regional Pilot candidates scoring at least 117.
