  • August 12, 2023

Open the door to affordable dental care with the Canada Dental Benefit 2023-24. The second application period is now underway, starting from July 1, 2023, and running through June 30, 2024. Discover how this program can help ease the costs of dental care for eligible families and children under 12.

Financial Relief for Dental Care Expenses

Designed to alleviate the financial burden of dental care, the interim Canada Dental Benefit caters to families with an annual income below $90,000. If you’re a parent or guardian covering dental expenses for a child under 12 without access to private dental insurance, you might qualify for this program.

The benefit amount varies based on your family’s adjusted net income:

  • Families with an income between $80,000 and $89,999: $260 to $650 per child
  • Families with an income between $70,000 and $79,999: $390 to $650 per child
  • Families with an income below $70,000: Up to $650 per child

This means eligible parents or guardians can receive up to $650 per child towards dental care for the upcoming calendar year.
