Canada has continuously followed a pattern and announced a CEC-specific draw after a PNP draw. They have sent another Express Entry round invitations on August 20, 2020.
This was the second draw in two days continuously and the 161st draw overall announced by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
In total 3,300 invitations were issued for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) applicants. To get an Invitation to Apply (ITA), the applicant must hold a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score 454.
In comparison with the previous draw, the cut-off score was higher. The cut-off score of the previous draw (held on July 23) was 445 and for a recent draw, it was 454 which is 9 points higher. This point increase was seen because of more applicants being entered in the pool since the last few months after all program draws announced by Canada on August 05, 2020.
