Canada held its first category-based Express Entry draw on September 20, 2023, inviting 1,000 candidates with work experience in transport occupations.
This draw is part of Canada’s new approach to Express Entry, which aims to streamline and accelerate the immigration process for skilled workers with the skills and experience that Canada needs most such as commercial truck drivers, pilots, and aircraft assembly workers. The aim is to bolster the industry by attracting skilled talent from across the nation.
